to work on a project focusing on the impact of COVID-19 and improving our
ability to recover from pandemics. The objective is to improve our
understanding of how the public changes behaviours in response to a
pandemic and policy interventions and how these changes influence
businesses and communities.
 
The starting date is Spring 2023 or as early as possible. More details

For the applicants to the postdoc position
 
We are hiring for a 24-month position focused on developing a multi-agent
platform and analysing the impact of COVID-19 Nonpharmaceutical Policy
Interventions (NPIs) on behaviour changes.
 
This project is funded by the Turing Institute. The position will be
based at the UCL SpaceTimeLab and supervised by Prof Tao Cheng

KCL Cooperative AI Lab. This project aims to improve our understanding of
how the public adapts to the pandemic, policy interventions, and messaging
and how these changes influence businesses and communities.
 
We are looking for candidates with strong backgrounds in reinforcement
learning and multi-agent learning. You will join a multi-disciplinary team
with four other PhD students for this project and have the opportunity to
collaborate with researchers at UCL, KCL and Turing Institute.

policy announcements and public responses, as well as GPS-based movement

We are looking for candidates with strong backgrounds in machine learning
and social media data analysis. You will join a multi-disciplinary project
with one PDRA and three other PhD students for this project. The successful
candidate will receive a full scholarship.
